Duckweed floating pond plant is a favorite treat for your pond fish. Duckweed is the smallest of the floating pond plants. It is high in protein, which makes it a great snack for fish, turtles and ducks. The leaves are a bright green and only reach 1/8 inch in diameter. Duckweed grows on the surface of the water in full sun to part shade.
